Ok, this is the story according to the guy I bought it from (who never mentioned any of this until after I had recieved the pedal) , don't really care if it's true or not. But it's a pretty great story anyway:"I lived in Brighton in the early 70's and knew a guy who worked with Virgin founder Richard Branson. We went up to his large studio, The Manor House, one weekend as Jed (as my friend was called) would record an album and I'd help lay some tracks. Though we had a little fall out with this weirdo who was taking our studio time as he pleased, so one evening Jed stole this pedal that was lying around as revenge...
Anyway, six months later we found out that it was Mike Oldfield who had been there recording Tubular Bells."
