Did you make the case for it? If so, what are the dimensions, please?
Yes, I made it. I don't have the measurements here right now though. I could have them later this week. But I just made it up from pictures I found online. I don't know how different it is in size compared to the real thing.
Thank you for the quick response. The only dimensions I have found appear to be the overall dimensions of the enclosure: 4 1/4 inches wide x 5inches long x 2 3/4 inches high. But that doesn't include the depth the back battery compartment, nor the cover for the battery compartment. I was about to do what you had done and just scale it from the pictures I find of it. I built the circuit which sounds fantastic!! Any help you can give is greatly appreciated.
Ok, I never even found that so, mine is probably a little bit off then. And I've made two. This one is the first one and it's a little too short/shallow I think.I'll try and get you those measurements later today, hopefully it'll help somehow...
I think I found those dimensions in a thread on the Vintageamps forum. We could become popular with the vintage DIY'ers if we could come up with an accurate set of dimensions and build drawings for the Rangemaster enclosure. I use the "we" in the editorial sense...!! I sincerely appreciate you checking this out. --Jim
I couldn't find my dimensions for the battery cover today. I'm sure they're somewhere. Or maybe I just winged it... Here's something at least... http://ausfahrt.blogspot.se/2013/04/rangemaster.html
Many, many thanks...!! I will check out that thread. Your pictures here are excellent for my efforts at "scaling" the enclosure based on the known dimensions of the battery, the switch, the volume control and the jack...Have a great weekend and I will post back to you what my progress brings!!Jim
